Guy Johnston and Festival Artistic Director Brenda Blewett first performed together in 1995 when Guy was 13! Today they reflect on the joy of collaboration and the importance of formative experiences in the journey of an international performer. Guy will reveal the ups and downs of forging his career after becoming BBC Young Musician in 2000, and how he approaches the process of learning masterpieces of the repertoire - culminating in an intimate performance of Bach’s 1st Cello Suite. Experience the performance close-up, in the round, at the back of the church. Coffee and croissants whilst you listen!
Parking is available by the church and will be signed and stewarded. There are toilets in the church and disabled access via the north door (please drive up track to the left of the church).
